Description

A personal work in order to improve my character skill.
The image itself was yet again inspired by some paintings by OmeN2501

hope you like it ;)

-----------------------------------------------------

[...] What do you believe that a soldier thinks during the war?
Kill, kill and kill or just in what he'is going to lose if he dies...

Small moment of sweetness in a world of killer.
-----------------------------------------------------

[...] A votre avis, à quoi pense un soldat durant la guerre ?
Tuez, tuez et encore tuez ... ou juste à ce qu'il va perdre s'il meurt.

Petit moment de douceur dans un monde de brute ;) ;p

Are you kidding? You want a critique of this? You should be teaching a master class somewhere...

That's like Beethoven walking up to stranger and asking him to critique the Moonlight Sonata.

"Umm.. nothing. It's perfect."

The lighting choices are beautiful. The palette explains the meaning immediately. This stark-black, severe figure stands looming amid a gorgeous mixture of blues, greens and yellows in the background with a warm red in the fore, maybe even conveying or adding to the sense of danger he presents.

The water surface in the foreground is absolutely incredible and I feel your pain on the meticulous carbon fiber-mesh armor.

The texturing throughout is brilliant.

Generally I would take an all 5-star review as, "oh, well that person just really liked this piece," but in this case that is not just so. I mean, I love it, but I can't really find one flaw or demerit here.

Everything about this is something I haven't seen before.

Brilliant work, ourlak.

Please tell me you do this for a living and you don't work at some awful job that doesn't involve this.
